Let me present to you a simple equation that everyone can understand: Socialism= Evil

So borrowing 700 Billion from China will be better that letting the 4% tax on the upper 2% sunset as they were required (by law) to do so? The only ones calling it wealth distribution are you parrots mimicking what your gods, Beck, Rush, Hannity, and FOX say

Europe was suckered into the mortgage securities causing their economic plight. I think we Americans should accept our responsibility and raise taxes to pay for the damages. http://www.alternet.org/economy/145884/how_the_monsters_at_goldman_sachs_caused_a_greek_tragedy

The spreading of the wealth began in the US in 1981. Reagan began transferring the wealth of the middle class to the billionaires. We are now in a recession because of those policies... not only of Reagan, but also by Clinton, and GW Bush as well. (George HW Bush was smarter and knew it was "Voodoo economics." But here we are. Supply side doesn't work,.... (I know most of you know that, but I was repeating it for the ignorant).

Why is it that conservatives think it's 'redistributing the wealth' to require millionaires to pay a measley 2 or 3 percent more in taxes? They're rich as hell they can afford it. If they pay slightly more than the poor and middle class than they will still be rich as hell. Dems aren't suggesting that we take away anyone's opportunity to become rich, but rich people can afford to help the country that gave them the opportunity to become rich and they should. It's ridiculous when the middle class throws a fit over things like taxing the richest 1% of Americans a tiny percentage more than the rest of us and then hold up signs protesting the estate tax. Really it just makes them all look like morons. What are cons afraid of? That someday they'll become rich and they don't want to give a fraction more in taxes when they do? Or are they afraid that some obscure, rich relative will die leaving them money and the government will get some of that loot? Seriously the only logical thing for the fuss to be about is GREED, illogical fantasy greed because the odds of most people ever becoming that rich are slim to none. There's no harm in rich people paying a tiny bit more, it's not a slippery slope, the government isn't going to see to it that a doctor makes the same as a cashier at McDonalds. And it's not going to help the economy to lower the millionaires taxes, they aren't going to piss that extra money down onto the populace and fix our economy with it. Cons should all just take a deep breath, quit being greedy, paranoid pawns for the rich and let the millionaires and billionaires help out a little so that we won't have to get rid of arts programs and require people to work until they're 69.
