Where can I find out what percentage of the US work force works for government federal, state, and local

Where can I find out what percentage of the US work force works for government federal, state, and local?
In greece about 25% worked for the government. I'm wondering how close we are to that figure. Please, if you know a site post it.

Try the Department of Labor, or the Bureau of Labor Statistics within the DOL.
2 :
http://www.bls.gov/oco/cg/cgs041.htm#emply According to this site the federal government employs roughly 1,909,000 people. (minus postal service) That would be roughly .005% of our total population (if I assume we have 350 million residents)

You should get permission to go to Pakistan first and then obtain a Greek visa at the Greece Embassy in Islamabad. The address is #22, Main ÃŒargalla Road, F-6/3 Islamabad, Pakistan. Come there and ask the embassy's officer for the information.

It should be very easy. Greece makes it practically impossible for beautiful ladies from Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, etc. to enter the country, but they rush to grant permanent visas to anyone from the 3rd world, especially muslims. They have a death wish, it seems, as the muslims will soon outnumber the native Greeks and the country will be islamicised. It helps if you come to Greece without a visa, BTW. Just pay a Turkish slave driver to bring you over in an overcrowded boat. They know the routine.

Ideas for a job in Greece

Ideas for a job in Greece?
Firstly, is it true that i need to become a Greek citizen before i can 'legally' work in Greece? What would i have to do in order to be able to work? Also, can anyone offer ideas on a job i can take which doesn't require me to speak fluent Greek? I can speak a little, but definitely no where near fluent. I'm 18 years old. Thank you very much, i'm really in need of some good ideas.

No, you don't have to become a Greek citizen. What you need in order to come here to work, which documents are necessary etc depends on which country you're coming from!

If you are a EU citizen you do not have to be Greek citizen. However, if you are from a country outside EU then things are a little complicated. The fact that you are so young can be a problem too if you do not know the language because surely however good employers you may find they will try to take advantage of you. Jobs you can look for will be mostly in the catering trade where language is a lesser problem. Waitresses and restaurant help in the touristic resorts is your best bet to suit your case.

No u don't have to become a greek citizen..if u have the EU citizenship it's enough,if not u re probably have to have a visa..i don't think u should go to greece to work though coz the wages are not good enough...livin with 600-700 euros per month while an average flat's rent is 300+100 for household costs, is not ideal.anyways try it if u like greece so much :-P
