If I buy a PS2 game in America and mail it to Greece will it work on there PS2's?

No. USA is in NTSC U/C region while Greece is in PAL region.

No, the PS2 in Greece cannot play PS2 games from other regions such as the U.S. because PS2 games are region locked.
